Mr. Rings began teaching vocal music in Louisville, Ohio and Newark, Ohio before arriving in Johnstown in the Fall of 1999. He taught middle and high school choir until the Fall of 2013 when he became the Dean of Students at the high school. In the Fall of 2014, Mr. Rings became the Virtual Learning Coordinator for the district. He created the JOLT online program which provides online learning and online credit recovery for Johnstown students. Mr. Rings is the testing coordinator for the high school along with other administrative duties at the middle and high schools.
