Welcome to Johnstown High School, home of the Johnnies! I am honored to serve as principal in a district that believes in the personalization of student learning through partnership with parents, families, and the community. From the moment I became a Johnnie, I have felt genuinely welcomed, which speaks to the character of this great community.
I believe that relationships are the cornerstone for student growth and achievement. In the brief time I have been here, I have been impressed at the level of dedication from our staff; the level of commitment from our community; and level of support from our families. It is so easy to see what makes this community such a special place — the people.
Every single member of the community I have had the privilege to meet speaks with such pride regarding the area, the district, and the traditions that have helped to forge the values of Johnstown for decades. Additionally, I am proud to say I am part of a staff that believes in providing our students with a world-class education that will prepare all students for their future endeavors.
All students at JHS will graduate with a plan to enter the workforce (Employed), enlist in a branch of the military (Enlistment), or enroll in a college or university (Enrollment). The planning and implementation of the 3 E's is successful due to the partnership between the students and their families, the school and the community. I look forward to our collaboration as we work to ensure all students have everything they need to find success and maximize their individual potential. Go Johnnies!
