Greetings Johnstown-Monroe Families,
In an effort to improve our transportation services for the 2024-25 school year, our third-party transportation partner, Community Bus Services (CBS), is moving to an "opt-in" model for transportation. This means that if your student(s) plans to ride the bus to or from school next school year, you need to complete your "Returning Student Transportation" form in PowerSchool by Friday, July 19, 2024.
All returning student forms in PowerSchool are active and ready to be completed for the 2024-25 school year. We highly encourage everyone to complete all returning students forms as soon as possible, but again, if you would like transportation for the 2024-25 school year, you will need to have at least the "Returning Student Transportation" form completed by July 19.
To complete your returning student forms for the 2024-25 school year, you'll need to log into your
PowerSchool Parent Portal. Below you will find a link to a step-by-step guide that shows you how to navigate to the forms section of your portal and how to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal if you don't already have one.
As a reminder, only students who live outside of the 1.5-mile walking zone for their respective school building are eligible for transportation. If you have any questions about whether or not you live outside of that zone, please contact CBS at 614-486-4180.
